BACKUP VERIFICATION & ARCHIVING 
Is your data really important to you? Do you want to make sure that backups you are actually doing work? The Netstar Backup Verification & Archiving Service comprises checking each of your monthly backup tapes. Your data tape is sent to our office and read on our servers. Once we have ascertained the tape is accessible, your key data files are processed and transferred to our secure server.

Our experienced team will check the validity of your information to ensure the records derived from the tape are accessible and logically correct. The tests include a general inspection of the information, coupled with the use of an automated integrity checking procedure, written by our system developers, which checks for any potential problems.

Once the integrity tests have been signed off, your data is then archived on to permanent DVD-ROM storage and stored at our office in a fire-proof safe. Finally, we return the backup tape along with a confirmation letter containing a summary of the tests.
