London, May 2021 – We’re thrilled to announce that we’re expanding with our brand-new office in Farringdon, central London. Since moving out of our old office during the pandemic, we’ve been keen to open again. This time in a brand-new building; one ideal for modern, flexible working for our growing team.
The move into our new state-of-the-art office marks one step in our goal to become the UK’s largest SME-focused managed services provider, giving our team the space to learn, thrive and work in a way that suits them.
The past year has been particularly strange for many of us. Like most businesses, the Netstar team have been working remotely since March 2020, meaning we’ve had little chance to see our colleagues in real-life. In fact, since the pandemic hit, we’ve had many new starters who haven’t met their teammates in person at all yet!
Whilst we’ve made sure to maintain our company culture through virtual activities and challenges (you can find out more about that here), we’re now all really keen to get the chance to meet face to face (following government guidelines of course).
Which is why it’s been the perfect time to move into our new office space. Located just a stones throw away from our previous office, our new offices are based in the historic and lively Farringdon, London.
The main goal for acquiring a new office was to give our team a space that allows for flexible working and social distancing, as well as being a bright and inviting space to work in.
Whilst we’re all very keen to work alongside each other again, we also recognise how beneficial remote working has been for our staff, in terms of work-life balance, mental health, and cost of commuting. Employee satisfaction and company culture are at the core of everything we do at Netstar. We understand that happy employees will be best equipped to help our clients succeed through technology. As such, having a space that allows us to offer hot-desking availability for those that wanted it was really important.
In short, those employees that would like to work flexibly can and those who would prefer to be in the office full-time now have a brand-new, welcoming space to do so.
Over the next few weeks, all our employees will have the opportunity to visit and work in our new offices, helping us to make the transition back to ‘normality’. Going forward, we’re also very excited about being able to invite our clients to our new offices when it’s safe to do so.
