In June 2013, it became apparent that for TPSI to meet their ambitious growth plans they would need to reassess their IT set up. Concerned that their existing supplier was affecting their productivity and performance, TPSI took the proactive decision to evaluate the alternatives.   • Disaster Recovery: Replaced failing Backup system with Netstar Backup and Disaster Recovery platform, cutting estimated restore time from 4 days to 4 Hours. This ensures data security and business continuity in the event of a disaster.
  • Servers: Replaced old and under provisioned servers with on premise virtualised server environment to minimize risk of server failure. Installed faster drives and configured RAID 10 for faster performance.
  • Email: Enhanced speed of email communications by cleaning up redundant mailboxes, upgrading to MS Exchange 2013 and implementing archiving.
  • IT Security: Implemented pro-active security measures: SonicWall firewall, antivirus, malware protection, patch management, anti-spyware and email spam management to secure and manage the network.
