London, April 2021 – This week, Netstar were announced as finalists for the CRN Resellers ‘Over and Above’ Award, demonstrating their commitment to going the extra mile to support their clients during the pandemic.
The prestigious CRN awards recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams within the UK IT industry. They focus specifically on rewarding innovation, evolution, and development.
The ‘Over and Above’ award is a new award for 2021, aimed at highlighting the amazing work done by companies, teams or individuals during the ongoing challenges caused by the pandemic. It recognises those who have gone ‘over and above’ their normal duties to ensure the best customer experience possible.
To be shortlisted for the award, Netstar demonstrated the various ways they helped support their clients over the last year, including:
- Offering free access to an online training platform
- Providing educational material in the form of guides and eBooks on remote working throughout the year
- Running complimentary webinars on collaboration technology and cyber security when working remotely
- Working late to ensure clients could transition to remote work seamlessly
Within their entry they also included an employee spotlight on Project Manager Sarah Barraclough. Sarah went over and above to make sure clients were able to carry on working during the various lockdowns, including using her own personal living room as a space to build PCs for Netstar clients, as well as managing all inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure clients could continue to operate as normal. This demonstrates her dedication to helping people succeed through technology.
Netstar are delighted to have been shortlisted for such an important award, especially as it recognises the entire team for their efforts in supporting their clients throughout such a challenging year. They now look forward to the CRN awards ceremony which takes place on Thursday 8th July 2021.
